Pork and Ground Beef ChiliIngredients: 1 pound pork sausage Procedure: Brown pork sausage and ground beef in heavy skillet. Drain off any excess fat. (Note: if you used grassfed beef you will find little or no fat. The pork sausage will yield some fat, however.) Put browned meat into crock pot and stir in all the vegetables and spices. Cover and cook or low for 8 to 10 hours. Makes about 8-10 servings.
A Favorite Crock Pot Chili RecipeIngredients:
2 16 ounce cans red kidney beans, drained Procedure: Place all ingredients in crock pot in order listed. Stir one time. Cover. On low heat, cook for 10 to 12 hours. For high heat, cook 5 to 6 hours.
Crock Pot Chili Recipe with Frozen Veggies
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef Procedure: Brown onion and ground beef in skillet. If any fat, drain off. Place meat and onion in slow cooker. Place frozen veggies in strainer and rinse with hot water to separate. Place all remaining ingredients in slow cooker and stir. Cover cooker. On low, cook for 8-10 hours.
