Venison Slow Cooker Recipes Like Grandma Used to Make

I thoroughly enjoy venison slow cooker recipes.



Ingredients:

3 medium potatoes, sliced thinly
3 carrots, sliced thinly
1 or 2 onions, sliced
1½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon pepper
3 or 4 pound venison roast
1/2 cup water of beef consommé

Procedure:

Place vegetables in bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle salt and pepper over venison. Add venison to slow cooker. Cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. As in all slow cooker recipes, keep pot covered.

Remove meat and veggies and serve immediately. If desired, gravy can be made from drippings that remain in crock pot.

The beauty of this venison roast crock pot recipe is its flavor and ease. Clean up is also quick and easy. As good as Grandma’s? Yup—maybe even better!
